What is the hop hop hop song?
The hop hop hop song is "Её парень" by Shluzov, a Russian artist. It came out on January 23, 2026 on the album "Любимый сайт" (roughly "Favorite Site"), and is listed as explicit. A slowed version followed in February, and in September a release added an ultra slowed and a hardstyle version.
On TikTok the song is not used in full. The trend sound is a short, slowed and lower-pitched cut of the hook, posted as an original sound by a TikTok user in late September 2026. That cut is what you hear under almost every hop hop hop video.
What does hop hop hop mean?
"Её парень" means "her boyfriend". The hook is a cheeky chant mocking a girl’s boyfriend, followed by "top top top" and "hop hop hop", which are just sounds for stomping and hopping, the way you would count out a little dance. It is not meant seriously: the teasing tone is what makes it fit a video where one friend bosses the other around.
So "hop hop hop" itself has no hidden meaning. In the trend it is the cue: on "hop hop hop" the friend in the back hops while the one in front points.
The hop hop hop song on TikTok
TikTok users know it under many names: the hop hop hop song, the Russian hop hop hop song, the "Her Boyfriend" song or the Gabi trend sound. You will also find slowed, ultra slowed, phonk and hardstyle edits of the same hook. For the dance, use the slowed trend sound, at about 123 beats per minute: the point, the press and the swap are timed to it.

Why videos made here have no sound
Videos made on HopHopHop.app come without audio, so they never include the song, its vocals or lyrics. Add the trend sound in TikTok, Reels or Shorts when you post: their sound libraries are licensed for that, and the hops and the swap are timed to its beat so it lines up. Each video costs 50 credits with Standard 480p or 100 credits with HD 720p (credit packs start at $4.99 for 50 credits).

How to make your hop hop hop video with the song
Tips for the sound
Use the slowed version
The trend sound is the slowed cut. The full-speed song is too fast for the dance.
Start the sound at zero
Line the start of the sound up with the first frame; the cut in the middle then lands on the downbeat.
Mind the lyrics
The full song is marked explicit. The trend cut is just the hook.
